Suncoat

Founded in 2002 by chemist Ying Chun Liu, Suncoat was born from a passion for science, sustainability, and safer beauty. With degrees in polymer and organic chemistry from Nanjing University and the University of Calgary, Ying brought years of expertise in industrial coatings and resin formulation to the creation of innovative, non-toxic cosmetics.

Outside the lab, Ying is an avid runner and hiker whose love for the outdoors inspires Suncoat’s commitment to eco-friendly, clean ingredients. From her rim-to-rim Grand Canyon treks to the Tour de Mont Blanc, her adventures fuel a brand dedicated to natural beauty and environmental care.
