Carzan Local Meats is a Saskatchewan rancher-owned company built on clean ingredients, bold flavour, and a mission to leave the world better than we found it.

Founded by Carter and Carmen—longtime cattle producers turned clean food champions—Carzan was born out of a health journey, a love for honest work, and a desire to bring better snacks to Canadian families.

We saw the problem firsthand: most jerky on store shelves was full of preservatives, nitrites, and ingredients you couldn’t pronounce. So, we stripped it back. We reformulated every recipe to use only what we’d feed our own kids—100% grass-fed Canadian beef, sea salt, a touch of honey, and real spices. No added nitrites. No fake sweeteners. No shortcuts.

Our jerky comes in 75g bags and single-serve jerky bars, with crowd-favourite flavours like Teriyaki, Spicy Dill Pickle, and Sweet Chili Heat. Each product is high-protein, low-sugar, and keto-friendly—made to fuel busy parents, athletes, adventurers, and snackers who care about what goes in their bodies.

But we’re not just here to sell snacks—we’re here to give back. Through our Snack & Give Back initiative, 2% of all proceeds go to feeding Canadians in need, with a focus on school nutrition programs and First Nations communities.
